The Ionia Area Chamber of Commerce is a very active Chamber - active in the community with events and celebrations, active on behalf of business with many member benefits and programs. Among the community events are the annual parades, recognition dinners, and a very active group of Chamber Ambassadors who help with ribbon cuttings and special events throughout the year.
Group Health Insurance – Small businesses can enjoy the same discounts on group health insurance as large businesses by pooling their buying power. As a sponsoring organization with the Small Business Association of Michigan (SBAM) and Priority Health, our Chamber members receive access to competitive insurance programs. Our member agents provide excellent customer service in determining which plan is right for your business!
Referrals – The Chamber provides daily referrals to residents and visitors regarding area businesses. IACC refers members only!
Chamber Media – The Chamber News which is produce bi-monthly keeps our members abreast of upcoming community events. A Membership Directory/Community Guide highlighting our business community and members are distributed locally and statewide. Chamber members with websites and e-mail can have them listed in the on-line member directory, giving visitors access to their business or organization info with just a few clicks.
Business Development - IACC continually markets the community to remain competitive and recruit new businesses, residents, and visitors to the area. To welcome new businesses we offer media coverage and ribbon cutting services.
Business Education Series (BES) – Be profitable. Stay competitive. IACC offers seminars and workshops with expert advice relating to sales, marketing, advertising, customer service, financial matters, time management, technology and other topics as well so our members remain competitive in a fast changing economy.
Chamber Mailing Lists – Available to our members at no additional costs so they can affordably and efficiently market their product within the membership. Membership list is available on diskette, labels, or by e-mail.
Networking – Get ready to network your way to great leads and contacts while receiving member discounts at IACC exhibition events such as the Ionia Home, Sport, & Garden Show and Merchant Expo at the Ionia Free Fair. Community Involvement – The Chamber takes great pride in being a leader in bringing events to our area. Hosting events such as the Ionia Christmas Parade, Autumn Celebration, and other various monthly activities brings the community together. IACC is a “Welcome Center” for visitors to our area. We provide maps, events listings, member brochures, and general business information.
