Hometown Service Beyond Expectations: Walkington Well Drilling
O'Mara Family appreciates Walkington Well Drilling
Steve and Cathy O'Mara recently encountered a problem at their new home. No water was coming out of their 18 month old well.
Steve tried to contact the company that had installed their well when they built their home, only to find it was out of business. Knowing Lisa Walkington as a fellow Chamber of Commerce member, Steve called Walkington Well Drilling.
Terry Walkington, who had several jobs going on at the time, arrived at the O'Mara home within 45 minutes. "He replaced the constant pressure pump, which he did not install and which is a brand he does not use. Our water was restored that night at a minimal cost to us," Steve said.
Then, Steve reports, Terry went one more giant step beyond expectation by working with the original manufacturer to warranty the pump which failed. "He didn't have to do any of this. He could have replaced it with his own brand. But he went the extra mile to get the warranty on equipment he didn't install in a well he didn't drill."
"Walkington's provided very professional service and I highly recommend this Ionia business to others, and I commend them for their Hometown Service Beyond Expectation."
Walkington Well Drilling, serving the Ionia area for 8 years, tries to provide every customer who is "out of water" with the same quick service. "If someone is out of water, Terry tries really hard to get there as quickly as possible. Typically, we cover all service calls within 24 hours," co-owner Lisa Walkington commented.
Likewise, Lisa added, if we can get parts warranted through a supply house, we are happy to do that for people.
